International Curriculum
The school currently offers the British National Curriculum: Cambridge Key Stage 1 and 2.
Key Stage 1
Years 1 and 2 are the foundation for primary education based on the British National Curriculum.
Key Stage 2
Years 3 to 6 make up Key Stage 2. At the end of Year 6, the students do the Cambridge International Checkpoint Exam which serves as a benchmark for entry into Key Stage 3.
Key Stage 3
Years 7 to 9 make up Key Stage 3. At the end of Year 9, the students do the Cambridge International Checkpoint Exam which serves as a benchmark for entry into Secondary School.
Note
All subjects have a programme of study that outlines the knowledge and skills to be developed at each stage. The child’s progress is monitored through various assessments.
In addition we offer these extra subjects/activities to all our students at no extra cost:-
Chess, French, Music/Piano, ICT/Programming, Scouts, Cookery, Drama, Poetry, Business and Public Speaking.
Activities offered at an additional cost include: Tae kwondo, Ballet, Basket Ball, Football, Swimming, Archery, Guitar, Tennis and Golf.
School Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
