St.Ruth School

Reception

Children learn mainly through play and a wide range of activities. They learn to interact with each other and adults. Our teachers encourage curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.

At this age, the children develop their social and emotional skills such as learning to take turns and share toys. They also learn language and motor skills. Their attention span is increasing, enabling them to start learning to work independently.

Play is our brain's favourite way of learning.
