Extra-Curricular Activities

We believe extra-curricular activities enable children to continue learning beyond the classroom to become well-rounded adults. Activities are a fun way of learning social skills such as teamwork, discipline and leadership.

Our Programme

At no extra cost, St. Ruth offers the following extra-curricular activities to enable children explore their talents:-

Chess, French, Arts and Crafts, Music/Piano and ICT/Programming.

Clubs

Clubs at the school include:-

Scouts, Science, Business, Cookery, Young Farmers, Drama, Poetry and Public Speaking. All children are required to join a club of their choice. There is no charge for clubs.

Other Activities

The following activities are offered at an additional cost:-

Tae kwondo, Football, Basketball, Ballet, Swimming, Archery, Guitar, Tennis and Golf.

Holiday Camp

We run fun filled Holiday Camps for children aged 3-13 years in July/August and/or November/December.

Themes and activities include:-

Science club, Horse Riding, Cookery, Puppet Shows, Art and painting, Music and Dance, Gardening and nature, Computer/ ICT, Chess Club and Golf.
